This wine represents our respect for tradition. Its roots lie in the culture and history of our region and our hamlet of Ghizzano from past centuries. Made with Trebbiano, Malvasia Bianca and Colombana grapes from old Chianti vineyards, it is a delicious dessert wine.

Processing::
after the harvest the grapes are left to wither in a cool, dry place for four months and subsequently destalked and pressed
Fermentation and maturing:
the wine is transferred into small oak barrels with a capacity of 50 litres (traditionally called “caratelli”), having sufficient space inside to allow fermentation during the three and a half years the wine spends there
Annual production:
approximately 1,300 375 ml bottles.
Organoleptic notes:
Colour: deep amber
Nose: typical aroma of Vin Santo from well withered grapes: spices in general, dried fruit, particularly figs and apricots
Mouth: harmonious taste with good balance between alcohol, sugar residues and acidity
